Crepes prepared using Ash Pumpkin. When Pumpkin is added, the Crepes or Dosas turn out very soft and light. Since no oil is used for roasting, it is very healthy and good for people trying to lose weight.
Time Required: 20 Minutes + Soaking and Fermenting time
Ingredients:
2 Cups Rice
1 Cup Chopped Kumbalakayi / Ash Pumpkin
Oil for roasting
Salt to taste
Method:
Soak Rice for four hours. Grind along with Kumbalakayi and leave it aside for 5 hours.
If the batter is too thick, add a cup of water and Salt and mix well.
Heat a dosa pan and pour a ladle full of batter. It spreads on its own. Gently give a round shape using the back of the spoon.
Flip the dosa and roast again.
Sprinkle some Oil if needed and roast on both sides.
Serve with your choice of chutney and sambar.
