Potatoes stir fried with plenty of Cumin Seeds.
Time Required: 20 Minutes
Ingredients:
4 Potatoes, Peeled and diced
1 Big Onion, Chopped finely
2tsp Jeera / Cumin Seeds
2 Green Chilies, Chopped or Slit
1tsp Red Chili Powder
1tsp Roasted Jeera Powder
1tsp Chaat Masala
4tbsp Oil
1tsp Mustard Seeds
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
Juice of 1 Lemon
Salt to taste
Method:
Heat Oil and add Mustard Seeds and when they splutter, add Jeera, Turmeric Powder.
Add Green Chilies and Onion and sauté for a minute.
Add Potatoes and stir fry for 2 minutes on medium flame. Reduce the flame and close the vessel. Remove after a minute and stir again.
Add Red Chili Powder, Roasted Jeera Powder, Chaat Masala, and Salt and mix well.
Close the vessel again and cook until the Potatoes are soft. Keep checking from time to time.
Add Lemon juice and mix well.
Remove to a serving dish and garnish with Coriander leaves and serve with your choice of Indian Bread, Raitha and Salad.

Thank you. Adai Dose and Khara Dose also known as Uppu Huli Dose comes out soft always. If you want it crisp, pour the batter and make thin Dosa and put oil and roast on low flame.
