Cottage Cheese coated with spices and grilled or shallow fried. This dish is very suitable to be served as a starter.
Time Required: 20 Minutes
Ingredients:
10 – 15 1” square pieces of Paneer
4tbsp Hung Curds
1tsp Coriander Powder
1tsp Chili Powder
¼ tsp Saunf / Fennel Powder
½ tsp Aamchur Powder / Dry Mango Powder
1 or 2 tsp Besan / Gram Flour
A pinch of Turmeric Powder
Oil for shallow frying
Salt to taste
Method:
Mix Hung Curds, Coriander, Chili, Saunf, Aachur, Turmeric, Salt, and Besan in a mixing bowl. Coat the Paneer cubes with the mixture. Leave it aside for 10 Minutes. Heat a pan and add Oil and shallow fry the Paneer on both sides or skewer the pieces and grill in an oven until done.
Remove to a serving dish and serve with Salad.
