In South India Sweet Potatoes are available throughout the year. Boiled Sweet Potato is low calorie snack is very easy to make and also satisfies the sweet tooth.

Ingredients:
2 Boiled Sweet Potatoes
½ Cup grated Jaggery
A pinch of Salt
Method:
Wash and clean Sweet Potatoes and cut into 3 pieces. Add Jaggery to water in a cooker vessel and add Salt and Sweet Potatoes. Cook in cooker for a single whistle. Drain the water.
Serve sweet potatoes with the peel.
You can also serve boiled sweet potatoes by removing the peel and chopping them into roundels. Arrange the roundels in a serving tray and sprinkle some sugar cardamom powder and toasted Sesame seeds.
